Photoshop batch convert jpegs

I wondered for ages how to convert a folder full of photoshop files to jpegs. Maybe it was obvious to everyone else in the world, but just in case anybody else is lost on this as well, I found two methods today. Method 1:

  1. Open a picture in PS
  2. Create a new action in the actions window in PS (it should switch into record mode)
  3. Click File->"Save as". Change the directory to whatever you want. Change the filetype to jpeg. Do NOT change the filename (even if it includes the stupid "copy"). Press ok.
  4. Close the file, say "Don't save any changes."
  5. Stop the recording of the action. It should look like this now:
    Screenshot convert to jpeg

  6. Choose File->Automate->Batch and select the new action, for Source choose the folder you want to convert, hit ok and watch photoshop do it's job.

Method 2:

  1. Choose Scripts -> Image Processor
  2. Adjust settings
  3. Go

GeoUrl

I saw this at Fabians blog - this interesting project that is GeoUrl lets you attach gps coordinates to your homepage (usually you choose the ones where you live, but you can of course enter anything) and then shows you the online presences of the people who live near you (click the link below to see my neighbours). We just got one step closer to Gibsons cyberspace.

At long last...

I have finally managed to take this page online, even tough there is little content here atm. Just to state it somewhere on this site, I use drupal to build and manage this site, plus gallery for the photo albums (which are not yet online).
